Love mine to bits ,thanks knitters xxx Sue B: I can't recommend these enough. Got mine a while back and love them. So much cooler against my body than the softie supplied by the hospital. Debbie S: Wear mine all the time, absolutely excellent. Thank you! From Julie: I just want to say THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH ♡ I received my K K this week & am in love! They are so comfortable & let the air breathe through & look SO MUCH better than the original pads I bought. I would love to purchase some extra knockers. Please let me know how I can. I showed them to my oncologist, he loved them & copied your note with contact info to share with his other Pink Ladies. Thank you again from the bottom of breasts :) Rimma, Getzville, NY, United States Feeling really grateful i got a nice surprise today in my mail. Georgie Hanson thank you thank you for the knitted knockers. I cried and cried when i realized what i was holding in my hands. I am forever grateful . Zoe: Today I received my Knitted Knockers in the mail, and I cried and cried and cried. Since September I have been struggling with the loss of not having my breast but very happy I am alive. I think the hardest part was I thought I had my husbands support, but later to only find out that he felt that I looked like a man. To my Knitted Knocker maker, "JM", you are my angel, my everything!! I do believe that God not only blessed me with you, but blessed you with this amazing, kind heart you have and talent. Thank you for making me feel whole again. I myself do not know how to knit, but I would like the opportunity to purchase yarn and send to the appropriate people. I am truly indebted to this group, an especially my angel "JM". Please let me know how I can help. Thank you again. (I will not disclose this woman's name, but this is a common response to silicone mastectomy bras): "Was fitted with breast prostheses yesterday - almost 6 weeks from bilateral mastectomy. I was so excited to look normal again. I told the fitter that I wanted to look natural so I should be back to my 44D. Got what I wanted and pleased with the way it looks. HOWEVER - we are talking almost 11 pounds hanging from my shoulders now - the whipped silicone is so heavy. After about 2 hours my back was killing me. I just put the bra back on to attend my grandson's spring concert. Already thinking I will regret what will be about 4 hours. How does anyone else deal with the weight and the discomfort." I've suggested she try a set of Knockers for free. It will be interesting if she orders them to hear her comparison. ZOE: For all my pinkie sisters, I received my knitted knockers in the mail and they are super comfy, soft and look amazing inside my bra and shirt. I found this amazing group on fb called Knitted Knockers. These women in this group are angels for us pinkies. Hope this helps my pinkie sisters. Donna January 12 A lil light hearted: Guess what arrived yesterday! Yes, my knitted knocker! I am so pleased ! I connected to this wonderful group only last week. They sent my perfect size C as my left bra insert and they even paid the shipping! As of today, I am not planning on reconstruction. I have been filling my bra , since mastectomy on Dec 9 th, with knit hats.... (name withheld) I just want to tell you how much your Knockers did for my life. They saved it, literally. After 12 surgeries over 3 years of chemo and rad, and the silicone prosthetics being too heavy against my scars I was ready to end my life. I had it all planned out. I decided to come online and say goodbye to all my friends on facebook on the night I'd chosen to die, when I saw the add for Knockers. I never thought it was possible for me to look like a woman again. I'm only 32. I thought maybe this is an answer from God so I thought I'd give them a try. They arrived ten days after I put my order in. And I was reborn! I've got curves again! Men are giving me the eye again! My kids are saying Mommy's back! They are so light and airless that I forget I have them on! They don't hurt! They don't rub! They don't chaff my tender skin, and I don't get heat rash! Most of all, inside myself, I feel like a woman again! I can't thank you enough! Bless you all! I heard the woman behind this is dying of cancer and that makes me really sad, but in her wanting to bless others she saved my life. Who knows how many others have been saved? Know I will be praying every day for a miracle for every life you touch. Bless you all. Forever grateful! Donna I just got the knitted Knocker and they are so light think about contacting Georgie and getting the knockers they are great. The look is the same and only about 1 lb if that. Testimonial from Jen who just received her pair of Knitted Knockers: They actually stay put pretty good. I wear them with a sports bra. I take out the insert and replace it with the knocker. Hi Georgie. I got my knitted knockers and I love them. They look so good even my dr was impressed!! They do rub against the scars some but if u put a price of fabric between the back of the knocker and the bra it helps a lot. Prior to receiving my knitted knockers I ordered some fabric prosthetic s and they just aren't shaped right and the sizing was way off so being I am only missing one breast it was so lop sided so I was so happy to see these worked....I don't have to wear a scarf to cover them and I can wear my hair up knowing no one will suspect anything. Donna 7:43am Mar 12 They fitted me with one of those silicone boobs 5 years ago and I was happy to look normal again too. but I am a 42C and it weighs over 7# It has its place in a box in the closet. A couple of months ago You sent me one of your boobs. I wear it all the time I do not have a back ache from the weight I look normal and most of all I feel great. So again i want to thank you for making me feel sexy and normal Even my husband is very please with the looks. Thank you every one for what you do. : Mary 8:09pm Jan 13 Hi Georgie - just wanted to let you know that I received my knockers that my girlfriend made for me the other day. I LOVE them, so thank you for promoting this cause. I'm in between surgeries and have been a lopsided mess for a few months, but my next few months promise symmetry and style! I've always wondered about knitting - people love it but I've always wondered what I could possibly make after the first few scarfs. Now I know what I can do and I just might do it after all! My friend and her knitting group are talking about doing these as a cause, so hopefully I'll be writing to you about a Boston chapter one of these days!.. Cynthia Tue, Jan 7, 2014 at 8:49 PM Please tell Pat thank you thank you thank you so much for my set of knockers. I love them. They are so soft and just beautiful. They arrived today and I appreciate all the care that went into every stitch. You loose so many things when you are battling Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It is so nice to get something back for a change. I just had my last chemo yesterday, so I was feeling pretty rotten today. This was a wonderful gift to receive today. May God bless you all and all your work. Thank you so much Cindy Christine I have a pair of knitted knockers - not only did they provide my mother and me with many giggles when they arrived, but they are actually very functional, very soft against the skin. I don't use the prosthetics much at all, but these are probably what I'd reach for in the drawer for when I do, I forget they're there. NEW TESTIMONIAL: Hi Georgie, Just wanted to let you know i have tried out the knitted knockers in my sports bra while at the gym and they are fab. They are a much better look than my softie, more natural. They are comfortable and i felt much more confident wearing them. Thankyou so much. xx Tristen Hello!
